Vogue Italia has created for the March 2012 editorial called ‘’Haute Mess’’. Haute Mess is a gif collection and was shot by fashion photographer Steven Meisel. The editorial features the models; Joan Smalls, Jessica Stam, Abbey Lee Kershaw, Lindsey Wixson, Daphne Groeneveld and Coco Rocha.

Joan Smalls was the cover girl of the issue. The Puerto Rican native found her start in the modeling world in 2007 when she left her homeland and moved to New York where she signed with Elite Model Management.

After being selected to walk exclusively for the Givenchy Spring 2010 couture show, Joan immediately became one of the most coveted catwalk models. She opens the spring 2011 Gianfranco Ferre, Gareth Pugh, and Gucci shows in Milan and Paris.

Steven Meisel is an American photographer; he is now considered one of the most successful fashion photographers in the industry, shooting regularly for both US and Italian Vogue, and lately W (also published by Condé Nast).

Meisel has also shot campaigns for Versace, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana and Calvin Klein (for whom his campaigns were very controversial). Meisel also photographers Prada’s campaign each season.

Abbey Lee Kershaw also known as Abbey Lee, is an Australian fashion model. Following several years of success leading up to the 2011 fashion seasons, V magazine dubbed Kershaw a supermodel. Abbey Lee also was photographed for the latest Gucci campaign by Mert and Marcus.

Lindsey Wixson is an American fashion model. She is known for her unique looks, defined in part by her “bee-stung lips”, “rosebud pout” and gapped front teeth. John Galliano, Versace Vanitas, Miu Miu, Jill Stuart and Alexander McQueen have all booked her for campaigns.

Jessica Stam is a Canadian model. She is considered to be part of the crop of models described as “doll face.’’ She walked a total of 64 shows combined during the New York, Milan, and Paris Fashion Weeks.

Daphne Groeneveld is a 16 year-old Dutch model, she was discovered in Amsterdam when a woman randomly approached her about starting a career.

After just one year of modeling she has graced the cover of Vogue Paris with Tom Ford, walked in the Valentino, Chanel, and Dior Haute Couture shows in Paris, and received dancing lessons from Madonna for a Miu Miu ad campaign video.

Coco Rocha born as Mikhaila Rocha, is a Canadian fashion model. Since her debut, Rocha has been the face of a variety of advertising campaigns including Versace, Balenciaga, Chanel, D&G, Dior and many others.
