Vogue Japan April 2012- Stylert.com

 

‘The Girl Who Rocks The Planet’ is the latest story of Vogue Japan for its April 2012 issue. The editorial is photographed by Giampaolo Sgura and features  Brazilian model Aline Weber.

Inspired by the very busy urban streets of Tokyo, Aline Weber is posing in energetic metallic looks, textures and amazing colors which create astonishing final results.

Italian photographer Giampaolo Sgura comes from Apulia, the most southern part of Italy. He studied architecture in Milan, where he incidentally still lives and works.

Passionate about photography and fashion from an early age, always attracted by the fashion world, he decided after 5years at the university to become a photographer.

He is following closely every step of his work, from shooting to retouching and printing. He works regularly for: Vogue Paris, Vogue Japan, Vogue Germany, Vogue Italy, Vogue Korea, Vogue Homme China, GQ Geramny and Italy.

His fashion clients are such as: Roberto Cavalli, Gucci, Armani, La Perla, MaxMara, Pierre Balmain, Massismo Dutti and Bluemarine.

Aline Weber is a Brazilian model. Her debut on the international fashion scene was at the Spring 2006 at New York’s Fashion Week shows. She walked for Tommy Hilfiger and Jenni Kayne. She also walked in Paris on her first season.

Her print career started in Brazil. She worked for Brazilian magazines like their editions of Vogue and Marie Claire. Her first big season, she opened shows for Shiatzy Chen, Daks, Balenciaga, and Requiem. Also walking for Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, and Proenza Schouler.

Kobi Levi’s brilliant shoe creations are like wearable sculptures. His shoe designs are inspired by human body, animals and fruits and transformed into humoristic footwear.

Kobi Levi is a footwear designer that graduated from Bezalel academy of art & design, Jerusalem 2001. He specialized in footwear design and development and working as a freelance designer.

 

Collaborating with both Israeli and international companies, currently working on his women shoe line in Tel-Aviv, Israel.

Having designed commercial footwear in Italy, China and Brazil and currently he is collaborating with both Israeli and international companies to develop his own women’s shoe line.

His shoes were presented design in various exhibitions in Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem, Tokyo, Verona, St.Etienne , Berlin and others.

As he said: The motivation to create a new piece comes when an idea, a concept and image comes to his mind. The combination of the image and footwear creates a new hybrid and a design comes to life.

These pieces are wearable sculptures. Most of the inspirations he takes from out of the “shoe-world” itself and transforms them into artistic creations. All the pieces are hand-made in his studio.

Designer duo Viktor & Rolf are famed for their high-concept catwalk shows and extravagant collections. The Dutch designers have presented their Fall- Winter 2012-13 collection at the Paris Fashion Week.

The Dutch designers have taken the fashion world by storm over the last 15 years. The duo s unique style by blending of cool irony and surreal beauty makes them one of the most original designer team in haute couture.

Dutch born Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren are fashion’s forward-thinking design duo, known for their conceptual fashion shows, clever ideas and chic clothing captured beyond all imagination.

Viktor & Rolf perhaps inspired by the dark of the werewolf walking in the moonlight tuned the runway into a melodramatic show. The collection was featuring glamorous mink fur coats, animal prints, oversized silk pyjama suits, sheer lingerie-style dresses, tweed shorts, and on the end the elegant black and gold gowns with metallic fringing which was layered down the whole length of the skirts.

Viktor & Rolf’s signature collections are famous for their tailoring and layering and their contemporary shows are full of surreal experiences and sculptural exaggerations. The signature collection has been complemented with menswear, accessories and fragrances.

American actress Jessica Chastainist is staring the Vogue Italia for its April 2012 issue. The actress features a Hollywood starlet in Los Angeles in the 50s, wearing iconic pieces Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Blumarine, Marc Jacobs and Prada.

Bathed in the glamour of the 50s the editorial is showcasing collection of art deco impressions of the American style culture. The starlet is wearing fashion pieces from: Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Blumarine, Marc Jacobs and Prada. The editorial was shot in Los Angeles from fashion photographer Michelangelo di Battista.

Michelangelo di Battista was born and raised in Italy, Michelangelo di Battista studied at Art School in Milan for 5 years and photography and communication at the visual art school in NY where he started his carrier as a fashion photographer.

He is living and traveling constantly between London – Paris and New York for his numerous fashion and advertising assignments.

Jessica Chastain is an American actress who is known for her roles in the films The Help, The Debt, Take Shelter, and The Tree of Life. She broke out in 2011 with seven films premiering.

She won over 35 critics awards and was widely named as breakout star. She was nominated for and won a number of awards, including a 2012 Oscar nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for The Help (2011).

LA Confidential magazine is featuring for its April- May 2012 issue is icy-hot with metallic colors of deep turquoise-blue hues and cold electric light. The model Nicola Haffmans showcases brilliantly styled clothing and accessories from Louis Vuitton, Proenza Schouler and Chanel.

The icy photo shoot was photographed by Stevie Verroca and Mada Refujio and took place next to the concert hall named after Walt Disney in Los Angeles. Nicola Haffmans poses against the modern buildings with high walls and futuristic curves which gives the cool look to the editorial.

Stevie Verroca and Mada Refujio met in Los Angeles in 2005 and began working together shortly thereafter. With a combined background in fashion design and art history, Stevie and Mada are creating images that are both classic and distinct. Stevie and Mada work carefully with post production to seam together subtle moments of real beauty with well-defined imagination.

Nicola Haffmans, born in in Holland, she is a newcomer in the fashion scene. She got an amazing start in the cast for director Russel Marsh and she made her debut on NYCs runways and continued her amazing show season in Paris. She was walking for Alexander McQueen’s and Alber Elbaz’s Pret a Porter shows.

Kenzo who is famous for his patchworks and energetic colours has presented her FW-2012-13 collection at the Paris Fashion Week. Humberto Leon and Carol Lim are infusing unexpected prints and patterns and vibrant colors to their coming season.

Humberto Leon and Carol Lim are known for being hip and choosing pieces for the young. For their second season at Kenzo, they presented a vibrant collection of mixed prints, bold colors, geometric knits and monochromatic suits in velvet.

The New York-based duo, who founded cool New York label Opening Ceremony may seemed an unexpected choice to take over Kenzo after taking from Antonio Marras in July last year.

With the new collections, they try to inject the brand with a youthful spirit and a sense of fun and cheekiness. But we also want to respect and preserve the traditions of the Kenzohouse, such as the importance of prints and the sense of worldliness and travel that has been intrinsic to every collection in the history of Kenzo.

Marique Schimmel is a Dutch model grown up in Enkhuizen, Noord-Holland. Marique Schimmel was scouted just under 2 year ago and immediately took to the international catwalks, walking for the likes of Hakaan, Alexander McQueen, Paul & Joe, Roland Mouret, Ellie Saab and Costume National.

Guess by Marciano Ad Campaign 2012 Stylert.com

 

Guess by Marciano’s latest campaign for spring 2012 was photographed by Hunter & Gatti who creates a series of glamorous 60s inspired visuals. Guess also introduced its first brand extension of the female clothing and accessories line, named Marciano.

Guess by Marciano features the models Heidi Lindgren, Klara Wester and Eugen Bauder campaigning sexy swimsuits, casual menswear and accessories . The campaign was shot by Hunter & Gatti in a sumptuous villa in Miami and features the models by the pool sunbathing.

Guess introduced its first brand extension, the up-scale female line of clothing and accessories, named Guess by Marciano in 2004. The line features high fashion, runway-inspired styles in several retail locations throughout the world, as well as select Guess retail stores.

In November 2006, Guess introduced their Marciano men‘s line, which is available exclusively through Guess.com, and select Guess and Marciano retailers throughout the country.

As of November 2006 the new mens collection features button up shirts, blazers, and dress pants. The men‘s line will, like the women’s line, be developed and manufactured in Florence, Italy; and will be available for a higher price.

Flare, the Canadian Fashion Magazine is featuring a vibrant editorial for its April 2012 issue. These super high fashion, colourful photos are shot by Chris Nicholl and showcasing the models Wei and DJ in a beautiful collection of kaleidoscopic prints.

Wei and DJ wearing colorful pieces from labels such as Jil Sander, Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney and styled by Elizabeth Cabral.

The editorial was shot by England-born, Canada-based photographer Chris Nicholl who is born in England and raised in Canada. Chris Nicholls has emerged as one of the most sought after fashion photographers, splitting his time between New York and Toronto.  He lives with his wife Lorca and his three children.

Flare is a Canadian fashion magazine. It is owned by Rogers Communications. Flare magazine was created in 1979 and was the brainchild of Donna Scott, who was assigned by Maclean-Hunter management to two of its magazines, Teen Generation and Miss Chatelaine.

Flare promotes itself as “Canada’s Fashion magazine”. While cover stories often feature American or international stars, Flare otherwise focuses largely on Canadian content and its role in international art, fashion, and media.

Sienna Miller for Vogue UK April 2012- Stylert.com

 

Sienna Miller is the cover girl for British Vogue for the April 2012 issue. The editorial was photographed by the American photographer Ryan McGinley.

Ryan McGinley is an American photographer living in New York City who began making photographs in 1998. From an early age his peers and mentors were skateboarders, graffiti writers, musicians, and artists that were considered to be on the fringes of society. In 2003, at the age of 25, McGinley was one of the youngest artists to have a solo show at the Whitney Museum of American Art.

On the cover page Sienna Miller is wearing a Stella McCartney dress and  inside editorial  is interpreting a soft version of Hitchcock’s birds and tells the full story about Sienna Miller’ pregnancy. She told the publication of her pregnancy: ‘I’m feeling fine. It’s all progressing nicely and it’s very exciting. It’s nice to start a new decade.

Recently Sienna Miller also announced that Sienna Miller and her sister Savannah are leaving their label Twenty8Twelve. After six years, the pair has decided to end their partnership with the brand which will continue on under its current design team. Since heading up Twenty8Twelve as co-creative directors, Sienna and Savannah have now decided to pursue other ventures.
