Guess by Marciano Ad Campaign 2012 Stylert.com

 

Guess by Marciano’s latest campaign for spring 2012 was photographed by Hunter & Gatti who creates a series of glamorous 60s inspired visuals. Guess also introduced its first brand extension of the female clothing and accessories line, named Marciano.

Guess by Marciano features the models Heidi Lindgren, Klara Wester and Eugen Bauder campaigning sexy swimsuits, casual menswear and accessories . The campaign was shot by Hunter & Gatti in a sumptuous villa in Miami and features the models by the pool sunbathing.

Guess introduced its first brand extension, the up-scale female line of clothing and accessories, named Guess by Marciano in 2004. The line features high fashion, runway-inspired styles in several retail locations throughout the world, as well as select Guess retail stores.

In November 2006, Guess introduced their Marciano men‘s line, which is available exclusively through Guess.com, and select Guess and Marciano retailers throughout the country.

As of November 2006 the new mens collection features button up shirts, blazers, and dress pants. The men‘s line will, like the women’s line, be developed and manufactured in Florence, Italy; and will be available for a higher price.

Marie Claire China February 2012- Stylert.com

 

Marie Claire China for its February 2012 issue shot a cake maker inspired editorial.

The editorial is super yummy, filled with pretty pastels and candy-like couture. The sweet editorial was shot by New York City-based fashion photographer Amber Gray and stars the models Masha P and Anna.

All models are styled in cotton candy and pastel hair and make-up. It seems as if this cotton candy colored  style is making a comeback. The likes of Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj are all sporting this girlie hue again. The editorial is showcasing fashion pieces from fashion houses such as Louis Vuitton, Prada and Jean Paul Gaultier.

The editorial reflects Amber Gray’s colorful, dramatic, and whimsical work. Amber’s sense of humor and penchant for glam-rock peek through the controlled chaos are revealing unique, memorable, and bewitching personalities. Amber has recently turned her attention to film direction.

Amber Gray’s Clients include celebrities like: Penelope Cruz, Beyonce, Selena Gomez, Maria Sharapova, Roisín Murphy, John Turturro, Nina Hagen and Tyra Banks.

S Moda by Satoshi Saikusa- Stylert.com

 

The Spanish S Moda magazine got inspired by Japanese Manga for its 10th edition in March 2012. The editorial was was shot by Japanese photographer Satoshi Saikusa and features the model Anouck Lepere. The editorial features designer outfits from Balenciaga, Gucci, Alexander McQueen and the accessories by Isabel Moralejo.

Lepere is a Belgian model she was studying architecture in Antwerp, when she was persuaded by her friends Dries van Noten and Olivier Theyskens to try modelling. She also worked as a model for the Hugo Boss “Woman” and “Deep Red” perfumes, and with Steven Meisel, Mario Testino, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

Lepere was on the covers of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, and French Playboy. She has her own line of jewellery. In 2006, Lepere became engaged to Jefferson Hack, father of Kate Moss‘ daughter Lila Grace.

Saitoshi Saikusa was born in Japan in 1959. He moved to Paris in 1984 and two years later he began working as a publicity photographer. He quickly became known for his distinctive style.

He proved to be extremely versatile, producing photos that perfectly envisaged different themes: sensual, glamorous, elegant and so on. His publicities soon got him noticed, as did his portraits and landscape photos.

He famously worked with Shiseido, Estee Lauder, Loewe, Rochas and Cerruti. Charlotte Gainsbourg, Laeticia Casta, Monica Bellucci, Anna Mouglalis, Annie Lenox, Naomi Watts, Sophie Marceau, Anne Hathaway, Catherine Deneuve.

Kate Moss was photographed by fashion photographer Tim Walker at the Ritz Paris for the Vogue cover for the April 2012 issue.

Kate Moss is posing as a modern Marie Antoinette and casts some the most extravagant dresses from designers such as; Alexander McQueen, Dior, Giambattista Valli and Chanel among others.

Kate Moss was photographed by fashion photographer Steven Klein for the two W covers of their March issue called the spring Fashion Bible.

Kate Moss who is known for her waifish figure and popularising the heroin chic look in the 1990s. Moss then went on to become the “anti-supermodel” in contrast to the “supermodels” of the moment such as Cindy Crawford, Elle Macpherson, Claudia Schiffer, and Naomi Campbell, who were known for their curvaceous and tall figures.

The editorial was shot at the Ritz Paris. The Hotel Ritz is a grand palatial hotel in the heart of Paris, the 1st arrondissement. It overlooks the octagonal border of the Place Vendôme at number 15.

The hotel is ranked highly among the most prestigious and luxurious hotels in the world and is a member of “The Leading Hotels of the World”. When Kate Moss was with Johnny Depp they stayed always in Ritz.

Tim Walker who was the photographer, is British. His photographs have appeared in Vogue, month by month, for over a decade. Extravagant staging and romantic motifs characterise his style. At the age of 25, he shot his first fashion story for Vogue, and has photographed for the British, Italian, and American editions ever since.

W Magazine March 2012 Issue- Stylert.com

 

W Magazine for its March 2012 issue is featuring the models Abbey Lee Kershaw, Saskia de Brauw and Sigrid Agren for a rock star like David Bowie inspired campaign.

Inspired by the rock star David Bowie, the campaign called, ‘’Oh, You Pretty Things’’ and showcases the typical David Bowie hairstyles, printed with bold patterns and the typical David Bowie blazer.

In the prime of David Bowie fame, it was nearly impossible to catch him in a plain suit; his were always embellished with sequins, printed with bold patterns, or tailored in a unique way.

The campaign was photographed by Craig McDean and styled by Edward Enninful. Edward Enninful showcases looks by Roberto Cavalli, Escada, Prada, Givenchy, Miu Miu and many others.

Craig McDean is a British fashion photographer who now is based in New York City. More recently, McDean has photographed fashion campaigns for clients including Gucci, Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani, Oscar de la Renta, Yves Saint Laurent, Calvin Klein, and Estée Lauder.

Abbey Lee Kershaw  also known as Abbey Lee, is an Australian fashion model. Following several years of success leading up to the 2011 fashion seasons, V magazine dubbed Kershaw a supermodel. Abbey Lee also was photographed for the latest Gucci campaign by Mert and Marcus.

Sigrid Agren is a French fashion model from Martinique, and rose to prominence during the Elite Model Look in 2005, at age 14. She then walked for her first New York Fashion Week, walking for Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan, and Rodarte. She also opened for Yves Saint Laurent, Karl Lagerfeld, and Alexander McQueen, and closed for Prada, CoSTUME NATIONAL, and Louis Vuitton.

Saskia de Brauw is a Dutch model , she was photographed by Mert and Marcus for Carine Roitfeld’s final cover of Vogue Paris – March 2011, and the same month featuring on the cover of Vogue Italia as photographed by Steven Meisel. De Brauw features alongside Mariacarla Boscono and Daphne Groeneveld in the Spring/Summer 2011 Givenchy campaign.

The designer Collette Dinnigan showed her latest collection at Paris Fashion Week. Best known for her lacy lingerie, cocktail dresses and bridal wear, her style is romantic bohemian and timelessly elegant.

Collette Dinnigan is an Australian based fashion designer. Born in South Africa, Dinnigan moved to New Zealand, then Australia, where she obtained work with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

Collette Dinnigan launched her eponymous collection of lingerie in 1990, followed by an expansion into slinky dresses and resortwear. In 1995, Dinnigan was the first Australian to launch a ready-to-wear collection in Paris; she was also the first to be asked to be in the ‘ready-to-wear parade’ in Paris.

Her range is now stocked in her stores in Sydney, Melbourne and London, and in David Jones department stores. Similar to Stella McCartney and Zac Posen, Dinnigan released a discount line for Target; a lingerie range titled “Wild Hearts” in April 2008.

Collette’s bridal wear is the most famous, which has featured in Vogue Magazine. Her evening wear is also quite popular in Australia.

Christian Louboutin celebrates 20 years of his iconic label with a spectacular pop-up shop at Selfridges in London. The shop features a special anniversary capsule collection of 20 red-soled shoes, as well as the men’s shoes and handbags.

Yohji Yamamoto FW 2012-2013- Stylert.com

 

The Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto has presented the Fall/Winter 2012-2013 ready-to-wear collection show in Paris.

The presentation of his show was dramatic clothes were shown in an exciting environment. By blending the vigorous, exotic and powerful designs of traditional Japanese dress with Western daywear, he achieves a unique, abstract style. The collection featured Poppy red or black dresses were wrapped from a single length of fabric with flat combat boots and dip-dyed punk hair.

Yohji Yamamoto is known for an avant-garde spirit in his clothing, frequently creating designs far removed from current trends. His signature oversized silhouettes in black often feature drapery in varying textures in a spirit of couture -with- a- twist.

His clothes can be loosely layered in a way that is comfortable, smart and extraordinarily elegant. He is famous for his minimalist, all-black clothing, perfect for those in search of no extra formal garments. The Yohji Yamamoto collection reflects cuts in uncluttered shapes with washed fabrics and dark colours and featuring a functional elegance.

They define their design aesthetic as a corruption of classic garments and a re-evaluation the values of banality in contemporary culture. Their approach is concise yet refined and most garments incorporate element s of hand finishing or hand treatment. Their FW/2011 collection was inspired by Coco Chanel. The duo addressed the issue of how fashion today can be a caricature of ‘what a woman really is’. They sought to deliver a look for ‘a true woman’:”short but not sexy, covered-p but not a sack”.

High-fashion designer Oscar De La Renta presented the latest collection for Fall Winter 2012-13 at the New York Fashion Week.

Oscar De La Renta known for his bridal wear and glamorous gowns, has showed a sparkly jewels inspired Fall Winter 2012 collection at theNew York Fashion Week. The collection is featuring colorful silk prints, embellished cardigans, coats with jeweled headbands and pearl pendants, crystal tiaras and bejeweled box clutches.

The designer also featured several new key trends, like the apres-ski stole for the city, or the new hyper decorated bolero or even played around with the tweedy puffer jackets.

Oscar De La Renta has also designs homewear, furniture, jewellery, eyewear, lingerie, luggage, swimwear, fragrance, and furs. He also designs, tabletop, decorative fabrics, wallpaper, bedding, rugs, and decorative accents have been added to this diverse collection.

Oscar De La Renta who is originally from Puerto Rico was trained by Balenciaga and also worked for Lanvin and Balmain.
