Mad About Hue- Flare Magazine- Stylert.com

 

The latest editorial called ‘’Mad About Hue’’ for Flare Magazine for its May 2012 issue, it was shot by Max Abadian and styled by Elizabeth Cabral. The punk inspired hairdos were done by hairstylist Tony Masciangelo and featureing fashion pieces from designers like Versace, Miu Miu and Marni.

Tony Masciangelo is a Canadian hair and makeup artist. Tony is a regular contributor to magazines Flare, FASHION, Elle Canada, Glamour, and Vanity Fair, and to CityLine and Breakfast Television as a beauty expert.

He has worked with multiple celebrities including Hilary Duff, Pamela Anderson, Taylor Swift, and top models Daria Werbowy, Jessica Stam, Lara Stone, Coco Rocha, Tasha Tilberg, Heather Marks, Amanda Laine, Kelsey Van Mook and Tara Gill.

Born in Iran and raised in Germany, Max Abadian studied at Dawson’s Institute of Photography. A prestigious fashion and advertising photographer, he raises interest on an international scale. Max has an irresistible way of creating a captivating atmosphere. He seduces the eye with the unequivocal beauty of his work.

Flare is a Canadian fashion magazine. It is owned by Rogers Communications. Flare magazine was created in 1979 and was the brainchild of Donna Scott, who was assigned by Maclean-Hunter management to two of its magazines, Teen Generation and Miss Chatelaine.

Flare promotes itself as “Canada’s Fashion magazine”. While cover stories often feature American or international stars, Flare otherwise focuses largely on Canadian content and its role in international art, fashion, and media.

The Velour Magazine’s latest editorial called ‘Paste Together’, for the May 2012 issue, stars American model Mackenzie Drazan. The new luxury lifestyle and fashion magazine showcases a Gothic inspired editorial which captured by photographer Bjarne Jonasson.

The editorial combines Gothic with Victorian aesthetics. By mixing these two themes together, the images balances masculine and feminine elements beautifully and even dramatically.

Darkly elegant, Mackenzie Drazan wears checkered button-downs paired with structured couture frocks and a lacy Victorian shirt and layered spiked metallic jewelry and a dramatic hair and make-up. The fashion pieces are from designers such as: Alberta Ferretti, Alexander Wang, Rag & Bone and Just Cavalli.

Grace Koo the stylist of the editorial has lived in New York for the past 8 years. She started her career working as a fashion assistant for V Magazine and went on to assist stylists George Cortina and Marie-Amelie Sauve. She currently contributes to Teen Vogue and Vogue Japan.

American model Mackenzie Drazan Bay Area is an accomplished mode on a national level. With her freckled, blue blood beauty, Mackenzie is already stirring up interest in agencies in Europe and NY. Still very young, Mackenzie can make her entry into the international fashion scene at her own pace. She has now completed her amazing F/W 2012 season. The Mermaid’s Holiday is an editorial shot by photographer Patrick Demarchelier for Vogue Japan its May 2012 issue.

French Patrick Demarchelier captured eye-catching seaside shoots and features the Dutch model Saskia de Brauw. The editorial was styled by Lori Goldstein and showcases life aquatic fashion pieces from Versace, Louis Vuitton and Oscar de la Renta.

Patrick Demarchelier is a French fashion photographer. Patrick Demarchelier was born outside Paris in 1943 and has lived in the US since 1975. His photos regularly appear in Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar, Rolling Stone, Newsweek and Elle.

Demarchelier has shot international advertising campaigns for Dior, Louis Vuitton, Celine, TAG Heuer, Chanel, Yves Saint Laurent, Lacoste, Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren.

Saskia de Brauw is a Dutch model , she was photographed by Mert and Marcus for Carine Roitfeld’s final cover of Vogue Paris – March 2011, and the same month featuring on the cover of Vogue Italia as photographed by Steven Meisel.De Brauw features alongside Mariacarla Boscono and Daphne Groeneveld in the Spring/Summer 2011 Givenchy campaign.

The latest Giorgio Armani Spring- Summer 2012 campaign is featuring the model Simon Nessman for menswear and for womenswear are Milou Van Groesen and Sasha Pivovarova.

The campaign was captured by photographer duo Mert and Marcus and showcases a monochrome collection surrounded by the beach atmosphere.

Mert and Marcus are Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, fashion photographers. Some of their major clients are top fashion labels such as Louis Vuitton, Missoni, Giorgio Armani, Roberto Cavalli, Fendi, Kenzo and Miu Miu.

Simon Nessman is a Canadian male model from Courtenay, British Columbia. Nessman is best known as the current face of Giorgio Armani. In addition, he has featured in ad campaigns for Versace, D&G, Givenchy, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Lanvin and others.

He  features the 2012 music video of Madonna‘s new song, Girl Gone Wild, as directed by fashion photographers Mert and Marcus.

Milou Van Groesen born in the Netherlands she opened the SS 2011 Balenciaga show and she has been talk of the fashion town ever since.

In February 2011, Milou was photographed for French Vogue, appearing on the cover of i-D as well. She made her debut for Italian Vogue in March, photographed by Steven Meisel.

Sasha Pivovarova  is a Russian model. She is perhaps best known for her consecutive 6-season run with Prada. Her agencies are: Unique Models in Denmark, IMG Models in New York City, and Donna Models in Tokyo.

Sasha Pivovarova took her own self-portrait for the new Rag & Bone Do-It-Yourself ad campaign spring 2011 along with models Abbey Lee Kershaw and Lily Aldridge.

House of Laurel introduced its SS 2012 collection and showcasing a dynamic ‘’Athletenique’’ sportswear lookbook. The lookbook was modeled by Petra Dvorakova and captured by photographer BJ Pascua.

House of Laurel’s focus for its summer 2012 collection is on vibrant and energetic colors with functional designs which make it an extremely wearable line.

House of Laurel was founded by Rajo” Teves Laurel who is a fashion designer in Manila, Philippines. He began his professional career in 1993, holding his first international exhibition the following year.

In 2000 Rajo Laurel founded House of Laurel with his sister. A winner of a number of national and international awards over the course of his career, Laurel is best known as a television personality as a judge on Project Runway Philippines.

With Athletenique, House of Laurel introduces a sportswear -oriented line in jersey, suede, mesh, and funky  prints. Athletenique is the philosophy of the brands, “Fitness is fashion’’ which is lifestyle transformed into fashion.

The name Athletenique is a combination of the words “athletic” and “ethnic,” a fusion of the abstract aspects of ethnic prints and the spirit of sportswear .

Designer lable Marni, recently launched the lookbook for H&M. In November 2011, H&M announced a collaboration plan with Marni. Marni is a cutting-edge fashion label, the unusual shapes, idiosyncratic prints and bold colours are very distinctive in the fashion world.

Swedish retail-clothing company, Hennes & Mauritz has partnered with big designers before, including Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney and Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz, Viktor & Rolf, Missoni, Roberto Cavalli, Comme des Garçons, Matthew Williamson and in June 2011, H&M announced a collaboration plan with Versace.

Swiss-born Consuelo Castiglioni is the designer is the founder of the successful Italian label. Consuelo Castiglioni had no formal training in fashion design. Her fashion line, which is named after her sister Marni, grew as her customers needed something to wear under or with their fur.

Deborah Turbeville was born in Massachusetts and raised in New England. When she was twenty years old she moved to New York to work with the designer Claire McCardell. Deborah became a fashion editor and then realized that her heart was in photography and has been taking photos ever since. Turbeville divides her time between New York and Mexico.

Guess by Marciano’s latest campaign for spring 2012 was photographed by Hunter & Gatti who creates a series of glamorous 60s inspired visuals. Guess also introduced its first brand extension of the female clothing and accessories line, named Marciano.

Guess by Marciano features the models Heidi Lindgren, Klara Wester and Eugen Bauder campaigning sexy swimsuits, casual menswear and accessories . The campaign was shot by Hunter & Gatti in a sumptuous villa in Miami and features the models by the pool sunbathing.

Guess introduced its first brand extension, the up-scale female line of clothing and accessories, named Guess by Marciano in 2004. The line features high fashion, runway-inspired styles in several retail locations throughout the world, as well as select Guess retail stores.

In November 2006, Guess introduced their Marciano men‘s line, which is available exclusively through Guess.com, and select Guess and Marciano retailers throughout the country.

As of November 2006 the new mens collection features button up shirts, blazers, and dress pants. The men‘s line will, like the women’s line, be developed and manufactured in Florence, Italy; and will be available for a higher price.

Princess Charlotte Casiraghi from Monaco, the granddaughter of Grace Kelly, is staring Gucci’s latest campaign called “Forever Now”.

Italian fashion house Gucci has presented the first images of its “Forever Now” campaign featuring Charlotte Casiraghi the daughter of Caroline of Monaco.

Charlotte Casiraghi is the official equestrian “ambassador” of the Gucci label. For her competitions, the creative director for Gucci, Frida Giannini, designs her clothes, which are made only for Charlotte and are never retailed for the general public.

The princess models items featuring the brand’s signature red and green stripes in a campaign celebrating its heritage.

Casiraghi is often photographed at fashion shows,art exhibits, and equestrian events. At the age of 16, Casiraghi was named number ten on a list of the world’s most eligible young women. Vanity Fair, selected Casiraghi as one of the International Best Dressed List of 2006.

Through her work as the editor-at-large for Above magazine, Casiraghi befriended Stella McCartney, whom she interviewed for the magazine’s first issue. McCartney enlightened Casiraghi and readers as to the many ways the fashion industry can harm the ecosystem.

Casiraghi appears on the cover of Vogue Paris September 2011. The shoot were made byphotographer Mario Testino’s position as Vogue‘s favourite photographer, having taken the cover pictures for its three most important international editions.

The Gucci campaign was shot by German photographer and filmmaker Peter Lindbergh, who currently lives between Paris, Arles, and New York. Lindbergh photographed the “iconic” January 1990 Vogue cover that featured Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, Tatjana Patitz, Cindy Crawford and Christy Turlington. He has twice shot the Pirelli calendar, in 1996 and 2002.
