Vivienne Westwood pioneers social and environmental issues, and now she wants to call attention to politic leaders, and put a focus to the problem of climate change. The printed shirt Green Up is part of a special project for The United Nation Environmental Programme and the Green Up campaign.
Vivienne Westwood collection mixes and matches and is featuring patchwork suits and shearling trench coat, check and plaid accessories like the tartan bags, gloves, cheeky looped belts and scarves. Chunks of ice and dangling icicles were matted in to the models’ hair and beards.
Vivienne Westwood has played a vital role in the emergence of Punk Rock in the 1970s and has gone on to become one of the most original and influential designers of our time. Other influences in Vivienne’s work have included ethnic Peruvian influence, feminine figure, and velvet and knitwear. The historical influence also, was always shown in Vivienne’s work. Decadent, depraved, and demented are all words that describe the fashions of Vivienne Westwood.
